hey guys what up, so heres my question... (i know from some reseach done before that pulleys arent good with turbo cuz theres some lost of engine stress)

has anybody dynoed their kit with the pulleys and then without the pulleys? or maybe ran at the track or felt any kinda of difference?

rite now my setup is greddy kit tune at 9.5 psi 370cc 70mm midpipe, TBS and the NST pulleys... im at 280whp n 235wtp...

like i said ive done my research and and everybody says its no good, but still ive seen a few people with them on and the pulleys... not lookin for engenerin feedback, but from actual usage

any feedback??

First of all, get bigger injectors and re-tune the car, you should get some more power...the 370cc injectors must be running at 100% duty cycle right now if you're at 9.5psi, I would suggest 440cc injectors or even 550cc, but 440cc should be good enough.

Also, I don't know much about pulleys, but turbocivic has UR pulleys on his car, been boosted for a while and he hasn't come across any problems with the pulleys, but I don't know about the NST ones.

I don't have any pulleys so I can't tell you for sure.

Update:

So i got retuned. made much more midrange power than before w/ the new injectors.

the problem was NOT the MAF location. It was that my spark plugs (which I bout from procivic) had been improperly gapped.

Iridium plugs don't get gapped, and I was between .42 on one plug and .49 on another. they were all off signifiganctly and screwed up my system bad.

There is also new insight on the MAF Location/Relocation.

Sharif from Forged Performance said the location of the MAF is CORRECT!!! It does not read compressed air for a good reason. The compressed air does NOT allow for very much deviation in tuning, meaning it has to be perfect.

If Compressed air temps are between 18-25 degrees constantly, and the uncompressed (unrelocated MAF) air temps are probably at 40-60 degrees, allowing for a better range of tuning capabilities.

I'm not sure I said it right, but I think I did.
