You have to remember that car has revised springs/shocks and different anti-roll bars and above all a 221HP motor w/ 161ft.pds of torque. We should try get our hands on Type R parts...only thing is where to find them. Our Si stock can stay with a stock S2000 handling wise, but straight line...forget it.
I thought that I would get wasted out in our local country roads but I kept up with my buddies S2000. The only thing he has are Skunk2 springs...which I doubt help his handling. I let him drive on the way back and he said that in his S2000 the exit speed was 57mph and in the Si it was 61mph. The S2000 can enter the corners a little faster but for some reason the Si has a faster exit. The Type R is on par exactly with the S2000 if not a little faster both in the turns and in the straights. Don't underestimate the power of the Si.
