So I have an 06 EX Coupe, and I just bought an 08 Si sedan.. I have a Kenwood touch screen headunit in the coupe that I want ito put into the sedan. My question is, will the adapter for the radio transfer over to the sedan, or do I need to buy an adapter specific to the sedan?
There is supposed to be some wiring difference between coupe and sedan... however the bigger issue is that the Si has "Premium Audio" and a factory amp. So this won't plug and play without making changes to your adapter harness Complete Stereo Wire Diagrams - All Stereos/Navigation
If you search you will see others suggest using the pre-amp out from your headunit but I would not. In my experience the gain was insane going from too quite to too loud with nothing in the middle. Also lots of issue with static and other audio issues from doing that. You will also lose the tweeters and sub completely if you attempt to use the preouts into the factory amp. It's not worth it imo
If you are wanting to get Bluetooth I can suggest this. I added this to my car after swapping back to the oem radio USA Spec BT45-HON3
