would you rock this for the winter? its either this or my HFP summers. I live in a bad snow area, but im worried about busting it out.

i might put it on the rear and keep an eye on it.

thanks for your comments

from the tip of the edge of the rubber to the bottom of the gash its almost 1/4". I cant tell if its split or cut but if i guessed i would say i hit the edge of the curb or a pothole.

the tire has probably been like this for a while...

on a side note- i have driven it hard on a road course. i dont think these tires were on the front at the time, but im not sure. it has more tread than other two.

thanks again

edit- 06 si has like ~18k miles

You can get the tire "repair" rather than replacing it.

Not sure about pricing or is it even worth it. Hopefully someone can add more info.

I'd say if it's just a surface cut you'll PROBABLY be okay. I have something similar on one of my stock tires and it's fine
Of course, no one here can guarantee nothing will happen :wavey:

If you can see the steel wires I recommend you don't use it but if you can't it should be fine
thats what im thinking...put it on the back, keep an eye on it...if it goes i will have more control being on the back. the cords are not visible.
