timing chain setup on cammed cars

i search frequently but recently ive thought of going with dc 2.2 or similar and would like inputs about what people do as far as the timing chain setup goes for reliability. its an 06 si just rolled 90,000 miles, bought it at 65,000 from a 60 year old who bought it new was babied till i got it if that matters?
