this comes up just as i get my yellow DRLS and fogs......GREEAAATTT
yellow fogs are supposed to be no problems cause from what i know.. yellow bulbs/yellow hid for fogs are legal! i think its only the fogs that can be yellow? cause people have been getting ticket for yellow drl.. which sucks! im not sure if it has something to do with your car looking flashy? cause KC MICKO had a carbon fiber hood.. so im not sure if thats another reason why the cop picked on him...well.. ive been running yellow DRLs for like months.. both on the civic and my van.. and no problems with the yellow DRL...but since people in richmond are getting caught for yellow DRL lately.. might as well change it to stock bulb.. its just a hassle to get a ticket and also get a VI for the car...im not sure how mnuch the ticket was. i have to ask KC MICKO :)

ur not gonna get a vi for yellow drls... He probably had other mods done to his car and the cop felt like being a ****.
I've had yellow drls on my car for the last two years, and I live in Richmond.. Get the cop's name and see if it's the
same cop giving these tickets out, because we can either contact him personally or go somewhere to resolve this issue

LOL! he had some mods..but he had stock exhaust though...i think he had a testpipe and maybe an intake.. but still.. KC MICKo was driving in a school zone and he was not speeding.. the RCMP still pulled him over for NOT SPEEDING.. the RCMP really targeted his yellow DRL! he has rims and carbon fiber hood and the car is lowered... what would you need a VI for? the RCMP is just being a a-hole! actually.. getting the name of the RCMP is a good idea! But i remember KC MICKO said that the RCMP was a asian guy.. then exhil_ also had the same issue with his yellow DRLS... i remember exhil_ saying that it was a white RCMP

@Evillager i asked KC MICKO about the ticket and he said its $81... and he also had to go through a VI! so its another $85 if im not mistaken!

yeah exactly, the cop is just being a **** and obviously knew his car wasn't stock... You can't have a test pipe it's illegal, and only some intakes are legal (not sure about the laws on intakes here, more in the states)
the cop obviously just used the yellow DRLS as an excuse to pull him over and decide whether or not he should give him a VI.
he's screwed now though, he'll have to put his car back to stock

Well.. the cops wouldnt know if he had a testpipe by just going around your car and looking at it...i just dont know why the cops are being **** when they see a good looking car!

Thats why i put my stock bulbs and removed my yellow DRL already...i dont want to get a VI and put my intake and exhaust and downpipe backv to stock.. thats a lot of labor and waste of time and money!

What sucks is that it depends on the cop.. I've been told by a cop to turn off my yellow fogs at a random spot check and they gave me no issues.. and other cops I've driven right by them with my fogs on and they do not do nothing.. Maybe the cop was short is quota for the month.. Did you do anything else that maybe gave him reason to pull you over and the fogs was all he could hold u on?

remember how i had a V.I ticket for yellow DRl and other stupid things, i dont have to go there anymore because my car is totaled.
i wanna set up a yellow drl on my evo but i dont know if i wanna risk it and fight it again and again. so far, there's no certain rule saying yellow drl is legal or not yet.

Okay so I'm pretty new in this ball game. Just had my Yellow tinted lenses fogs installed with the standard halogen bulbs (ofcourse it still produces yellow but I will eventually replace it with PIAA Plasma Ion yellow so it's really gonna do its job). Anyways, so I get it and it says in MVA that Foglights could be White or Amber =yellow must be the same as amber right? Since we all know yellow foglights are legal, should I still be cautious turning them on at Dawn/ Dusk, or Night even though there's no fog and might get a ticket? I live in Burnaby. Or is it totally fine to use it at Dawn / Dusk / Night and not worry getting a ticket? Btw yes people my Dlrl is bluish white which I know is just pure white so I don't really worry about it. Thanks!
