i dont mind fighting the ticket.. but getting a VI too.. its just a hassle and i dont want to pay for the VI! waste of money!I refuse to remove my yellow DRL's, I will fight the ticket in court if i get yanked for it.
Burnaby RCMP seem to have no issues with me blinding them in the mornings with my hids and hid fogs. My car lights up an RCMP cruiser nicely....lmao
6000 k hids and I honestly do not know what my fog hids are but they are bright.i dont mind fighting the ticket.. but getting a VI too.. its just a hassle and i dont want to pay for the VI! waste of money!what hids are you running on your low and fogs?

Are they matching your 6k low though?6000 k hids and I honestly do not know what my fog hids are but they are bright.
I will figure out a way to get out of the VI as well, not sure yet but will figure something out.
Cop will have to have a search warrant to go through my car, they need justification to search your car including popping hood or trunk.Are they matching your 6k low though?Let me know if you have a way to get out of a VI since it was just because of the yellow DRLS
but in your case.. you have a testpipe.. so if u get a vi then u have to put back your stock testpipe? do cops even know where the cat converter on r18 is located?
yellow drls dont make the headlights incapable of displaying white light. you still have your lowbeams which are white right?Headlamps
4.05 (1) A motor vehicle must be equipped with either one or 2 headlamps mounted on each side of the front of the vehicle and capable of displaying white light.
That sucks!!! Crazy thing is the here in the states, Acura Vigors, RL's and TL's came with yellow fog lights.
i have yellow drl's also for almost 2 years. never got pulled over in vancouver burnaby richmond ***, even in the states and victoria.... as someone said the camaro has yellow drl's as stock...
Well, that is because they're DOT approval, most aftermarket color bulbs are not DOT approval so meaning they're illegal and you're using them at your own risk on the street.Lexus ES300 came stock with yellow fogs, I see them all the time.
one headlamp = your whole headlight correct? one headlight consists of 1 yellow drl/yellow highbeam bulb (its 1 bulb for both). 1 lowbeam bulb which is white (this is the one thats changed when hids are installed). as long as each headlight has at least 1 kind of bulb that displays white light, which it should as long as you have a halogen lowbeam or legal hids, you should be ok. thats my interpretation of it anyways. i have a csx so correct me if civic headlights have a different number of bulbs or what not.
just so were clear. im not arguing with you. im just trying to understand what your saying lol."headlamp" means a lamp, mounted on a motor vehicle, that is capable of displaying white light, the rays of which are projected forward, but does not include a spotlamp, cowl lamp, parking lamp, fog lamp, clearance lamp, auxiliary driving lamp or daytime running lamp;
Nothing there about being allowed any other colour than white.
