MECA is mobile electronics competition group. Basically, SQ (sound quality), SPL (bass level), etc are going on this weekend at the Nashville state fairgrounds (about a mile off of I-65). I'm going to check it out and thought I'd give a heads up to anyone that might be local. Here's the even schedule:

10:30 PM Ride The Light Neon Judging

9:30 AM SPL Finals (Top 3 in each class)
12:30 PM Drive-by SPL Parade Finals (Top 3)
2:00 PM RTA Freq-Out Judging
3:30 PM Team SPL Gang Bang
4:30 PM BBQ Dinner
5:30 PM Trophy Presentation Begins
6:30 PM Show Closes
Should make for a fun time, and a great chance to listen to some EXCELLENT sounding rides (best in the world). Come on down. See you guys there. I'll be wearing a NY mets hat and carrying a big ass camera. Watch out for my (almost) mullet.
