Hey all,

I live in San Diego and I don't know if you have heard but there are some major fires going on around the county right now. I am miles away but the ash just keeps dropping on my car, and I was wondering what - once this is all over - would be the best method of removing it?

Blow it off with a leaf blower or something like that. The good thing about carbon (burnt wood and such) is that it isn't as gritty as volcanic ash (glass). Blow it off with like a leaf blower. Even hosing it off should work, then wash as normal but use a thick microfiber towel to soap it down.

i've only had to deal with volcanic ash and it = death to a car.
