So I went and ordered the footrest off of your website last night and payed the full price of $55 assuming that you wouldn't be putting it on sale for a little while. And then I check back this morning and the post after mine is announcing that it is now on sale to 8th members.

Is there anything you guys can do for me?

question on the footrest:

Is it more of a thin "cover" that wraps around the edges of the existing footrest, or is it a thicker plate that stacks on to the overall height of the existing footrest? I'm asking because I have weathertech floorliners that are molded to fit around the contours of the whole footwell, and while there is a little play (1/4" gaps maybe), I'm wondering if the strutking footrest will interfere with it by adding too much girth to the footrest?

It is more of a thin cover that wraps around the footrest much like your OEM pieces

Thanks, I just ordered one!

I ended up placing an order for a footrest pedal on 5/3 for the full amount of $55 and then checked back here on 8thcivic yesterday and realized that they began discounting the footrest pedal for 8thcivic members and selling it for
$45 the same day I placed my order.

I asked them what they could do about it and they had no problem refunding the me the $10 difference.

I already received that $10 credit yesterday and I just wanted to say thank you for honoring the 8thcivic discount for me and thank you for refunding the difference so quickly. SO far I am very impressed with your customer service.

I am looking forward to receiving my footrest, and thanks again guys!

Hey does anyone know where exactly the plate relocator relocates the plate to? I think it's like the lower left side but I'm not sure. Thanks.

:help: I just received my pedals and the quality and the speed that they were delivered are commendable. Just one question. Why no installation instructions? I checked the website and couldnt find it there also?
