id be wiling to attempt this, but im not willing to spend that much on the controls, maybe if an EX owner who has swapped in a new stereo that cant use the audio controls wants to trade + a little cash

^ i dont think anyone knows for sure yet, if i can get my hands on the controls i would be more than happy to try it out for you.

i did look online and the part numbers for the main interior harness that goes to the stereo, steering wheel and all the other electrical components are actually different part numbers between the EX and LX but it is the entire harness under the dash so i have no clue what parts are actually different

its mainly the price tag that gets me, if i could do it just by hooking up the controls and thats it id do it.
