I have a 07 Si Sedan with a AEM CAI, Vibrant Catless RH, LSD Catback, Hondata Reflash, and Exedy Stage 2 clutch with a light weight flywheel. I had the car since 2 miles on it. Clutch was put in sometime late November of 2009. I like to have fun in my car sometimes so like everyone else rev high and go fast but not frequently. I learned how to slow down and all.

Ok so after a little nice drive couple of high revs (20 mins prior) I stopped at a red light. MY car just stalled out. Wouldn't turn back on until the 3rd try. then after I turned it back on it wouldn't go into gear til about the 4th try. Then all just felt weird. The car felt like stalling out again after I shifted to second. Luckily I was 2 blocks away from work and I know a mechanic next door to my job to look at it. I pulled in the alley and saw him there so i told him wait to go nowhere. I turned the car off popped my hood and white smoke was coming from the front of trans by the where the clutch stays. So he played with it for a few seconds to see and noticed that when i press the clutch the car would stall out. So I had to get my car towed to My real mechanic that only is allowed to touch my car. They Didn't look at yet to let me know but ANYONE have a slight idea what it might be? The mechanic by my job thinks it might be a throw out bearing(or w/e its called, can't really think straight on this topic to know the exact wording or proper pronunciation) since it didn't smell like clutch.

yes only when i press the clutch, doesn't matter which gear. it just happened out of nowhere. i kinda figured it wouldn't be a fly wheel weight problem. that's what there made for. i do hope we figure it out.

ok so we checked it and it's the throw out bearing. the clutch set up is to aggressive for my car and I need to go with a less aggressiveset up. it happened pretty cuz I don't drive it like how it's supposed to be driven. I don't race or drive to hard anymore. so now I have to sell the clutch to buy another one that could be handled. need a disk instead of a puck. now I'm looking for a buyer for a exedy stage 2 clutch. selling it for 510. just a few miles over 7k. my mechanic said it still looks great.
