Im new to k series and I am slowly selling off my K series stuff to build a frank block for my FG2. So my question is how do the DC stage 4s handle I'm trying to squeeze 300+ hp NA out of my Si. Ppl will tell me to go FI it's just not my thing. Is 300whp achievable with these cams+ bolt ons and tune? Thanks in advance.

I'm not going to say 300 whp is impossible out of an 8th gen in naturally aspirated format... But the most likely way it will happen(read: no crazy race car RPMs) will include swapping a k24 bottom over, with a lot of other goodies.

Without a k24 bottom end/stroker... I'm not entirely confident you can get a NA k20 to 300 without some serious, serious modifications.

I'm always up for a challenge I'm currently sourcing parts for a Frankenstein set up K20/K24 I was just hoping the DC4.5 cams might get me close to my goal with at least 12:5 CR thanks for the input guys.

I've been building a k20a2/k24a2 for my 08 FA5, and my goal is 300+ whp while retaining all the luxuries of the car.

My head is a k20a2, I'll be getting the 4Piston 156v2 port and polish, with ferrea 6000 valves, supertech valvetrain, and dc4 cams.

My bottom end is a k24a2 donor, stock crank. Running Brian Crower Lightweight Sportman rods. Ceramic coated Wiseco 12.5:1 pistons. Ported RRC oil pump from Hytech, as well as his oil pan baffle.

Induction will be a custom intake tube, feeding into modified Lexus RC-F throttle body(84mm at the plate), a Hayward Performance centerfeed intake manifold. I'll have to do a tube support/hood latch to actually fit this beast.

Exhaust is a custom Hytech header, gave him all my engine specs and he designed it. From there it's going out a 3" Full Race exhaust... oh yeah, both are ceramic coated.

We'll see what I get when I get there! Slow going, military pay ain't that great when you're low on the totem pole.
