Splash guards are only good on black... doesn't stand out as much

Mine came for free on my ASM, can't complain thought, they do help out but take away from the styling.

It is more expensive, but the EX, LX, and DX with the leather wrap look like a skinned cow on the wheel. It's not as nice as the Si's leather steering wheel.

That is very true! They look really bad though and it gives the dealerships an easy option to put on every vehicle and jack the price up for it.

If you want functionality, choose splash guards. They block a lot of gunk from getting on the paint. If you want the more expensive freebie...choose the leather steering wrap.

I think you need the splash guards no matter what you do. They block soo much crap and for an OCD paint guy like me, they are a lifesaver. Also help keep rocks from chipping paint behind your wheels

Your dealer is pretty stingy. I got wheel locks, splash guards, and color matched door edge guards for free as a "dealer throw in".

I do have some tar marks on my doors and I can imagine it would be worse if I didn't have my splash guards.
