what do you mean tested the speed on the dyno? Do you mean to say G-tech? That thing is unreliable. Use the speed #s people give you here. They 've experienced it first hand. There is NO way an LX/EX can be any faster than 130mph. The g3 Integra RS/LS top speed was 128mph. The 170hp GSR's top speed was 134mph according to most mags. I did 133 with my '99 GSR when it was stock and it wouldn't go any faster on a perfectly straight smooth road. It all depends on the wind/resistance too, weight of the driver, junk/extra weight in the car, height of the car off the ground, etc. With only a Cold Air intake and a 8.9lb lighter flywheel I took my GSR up to 141mph but had to slow down. It had some more left in it.. Don't now what it does now, probably 145+
i went 135 on I-45 here in houston. lol yeah it took me a while to get there but it did.... started at 2920 and slowed down after beltway 8 if anyone know about houston. it was around 3AM so i was the only one on the 4 lane freeway. but thats the limit for the ex.... im pisssed that i didnt get the Si:violin:

plus i have 12000miles on my car so i think its broken in. (5spd)

my bro-in-law did 150mph on his old 94 integra gsr. yes his needle past the 140 mark to the last line. Me and my brother took a trip to LA this one time and I did 130mph on my old 1994 civic si hatch.yes past the 120 mark and onto the last line. i guess its up to the condition of the engine for the older cars. But for the new ones they usually give it a limiter. Ive heard some of my friends say that their 93 integra ls top off at 115, thats with the original tranny. my lil bros old 93 ls did well over 120mph.
BTW that one time when i maxxed out my old 94 si hatch there was this one 96 civic coupe that was slowly creapin past me. I think he either has a chipped ecu or something else because i was doing 130mph. Funny thing about the hatch si is that the rpm was at 6100 on 5th gear. In conclusion i think that the old cars can go over the mph that is shown on the cluster. Maybe not the ls integras though.

Well im a car enthusiast. I race, do car shows, travel long loong loong distances at a time, i've owned my civic for 4months and in just a taste under my 4month mark before they sent my ass to iraq, i put 34,000miles on my car. I brought it with 3km's on the engine brand new. And some of you guys are killing me. But then again you buy the r18 engine'd models for fuel economy. But i dont know im stationed in germany for the most part, and you guys are talking about 120-140-150mph is fast and its unbearable. I wasnt going to say nothing, but i know i own a 06' Ex coupe, but not by choice. Avalability was my problem, But on from that. Those speeds are nothing man, And any of you guys gettin beat by some 05 and below civic even with them having all bolt ons, you are a shitty azz driver. Thats bottom line. There is no other way unless you say you wasnt racing them. Because those civics are soo slow. Thats including the 00-01' Si with bolt ons and the EP3 body style Si civics with their "soo called 200hp" or whatever it is. I then whipped both their asses. The 00' Si coupe i beat ol boy on the autobahn and it was sad. He's back there lookin stupid as i slowly slowly walk away from him and all i have is a cold air intake. Something must be done here. Someone needs to learn how to drive man. This is really pathetic. I dont know what kinda car's ya'll are used to driving but jesus. My previous car was a 89' Porshe 944 S2 and that topped out at 175 consistently and redlining its ass off and i thought that was slow. Before that was a c230 kompressor, and i tought that was really slow, but nice on the inside. But if you guys are going to talk about top speed, please dont add the words "man thats too fast, or the word fast" at all. Just state your top speed and keep it movin. Work on that governor being removed, thats what i'd say. Just to think the old Lexus es300 took 8.0secds to get to 60mph and our lil econoboxes do it faster than that with 60 less crank hp smh.
