I'm on my second starter with my 07 LX automatic and the solenoid sticks. I have no desire to shell out $300 on the mitsuba, but I also don't want to get another reman that's likely to have this problem. I really just want to fix or replace the solenoid. I can't find a part number anywhere for the starter solenoid. Bought new, the unit comes as one piece, and the solenoid on the AT version isn't divorced from the starter. Anyone know where to get a starter solenoid and/or whether you can get the old one out on this model?

I still have the original starter in my 1998 Nissan Maxima. Lately it has been cranking slower than usual, and a few times I had to hit it with a stick to get it to crank at all. Those few times it didn't crank, it did NOT make a clicking noise when I turned the key - just silence Speed Test .
