Just wanted to say I highly recommend these cams for the price. Putting down 298whp on 93 octane in an all motor setup is awesome!

Please check my build thread for details on my entire setup.

I will post my dynosheet later.

ok good stuff... I keep on hearing how idle and drivability and low RPM usage for DD is crap with anything above a stage 1.... but this makes me want to add that to my block. if you gonna do it, do it big right?

Do it big, or don't do it at all!

Don't believe everything you hear. Being considered driveable is all about personal opinion.

My car has a idle that sound stocks, and performs perfect. I don't see how anyone could say this setup is not ideal for a daily driver. Who dislikes more power?

S2 Stage 3 Cams

My buddy Rob had stage 3's in a high compression 2.4 in his hatchy and they do idle very smooth. I was actually surprised to find out it had aftermarket cams at all as they idled THAT smooth. Tuneable cam angle FTW!

You can't run your cams on a k20. Please make sure if you're suggesting these cams to people it's for a k24.

The only kind of k20 you can put these in is gonna need 15:1 compression to use them properly.

Skunk2 cams potential problems / failed tensioner - K20A.org .:. The K Series Source . Honda / Acura K20a k24a Engine Forum

I'd highly advise you look at these threads before you pour tons of money on your build.

I have been saying this for a long time. people finally catching on to Skunk2 parts. Only good part they make is their shift knob. lol.

For the same quality I get other Taiwan parts for half or a fraction of the price. If you going to pay that amount of money get a quality part from a reputable company.

The issues with the skunk2 cams were in the version 1 & 2 cams. The version 3 cams do not have those issues.

I did my research just informing people in case they did not know. If there is no checks on tolerances. It could happen easily again.

Just to be clear, too, do you mean skunk2 stage 3 version 3 camshafts? so many variations.

version 3 still has the chain slap issue. the only thing that was corrected from version 2 to version 3 was the centerline on the exhaust cam. it was off and you needed their exhaust cam gear to fix it to some extent.

the chain slap issue is still present but there are ways around it.

^^ what brian said. They still have the "fast ramp rate technology" on their cams.

Also i hope you don't have a skunk2 tensioner, there's a reason they stopped selling their branded tensioners (hint... they didn't work, LOL)
