Hey guys I've done a lot of reading about coils lately as I'm looking to drop my car and improve handling a bit. I'm looking for something that will be functional on the street but see some track use. I've heard the Skunk2 is kinda stiff. This is the first car I have modded so I don't really have any firsthand experience with coilovers. Opinions? Advice?

Here is my advice to you.. If your car sees the track, or if you don't like bouncing all over the place with your head hitting the roof, do not buy Skunk2 Pro S. Also i cannot speak about Godspeed but i'd suggest against it

I hear the Skunk2 Pro-C are pretty good, although those run about $1200 i believe.
I had buddyclub N+ brand new shipped to my house and a few days after installing i hit a big bump and it shattered, i think from a hairline crack in the body somewhere.. I have no doubt that Buddyclub makes bad coilovers, but it was kind of sketchy.

I recently installed my skunk2 pro s II and i can say its not as bad as people think. Perhaps they just havent set their preload to the correct settings. Daily Drive my car and the ride is no where near as bouncy as they say, u feel the road more. But thats any coil.

You want form and function then get tokico shocks w/ ground control, S2 pro C, tein flex.

Im a previous owner of Skunk2 pro s II and the ride quality was good the first 2 weeks than everything was bouncy, i thought it was because everyone didnt know how to set preload either, but i was wrong these coilovers are bouncy. I sold them and just order megan ss coilovers, hopefully they wont be as bad as S2 pro s II.

NO dont even waste your time/money with springs....
I agree...I bought springs a month and so ago and was a big mistake I shouldve just waited and bought coilovers or something better. Not saying springs are bad its just soon your struts will go and with have to replace them with better ones...trust me do it right the first time around.

Those are chromium black 522s right?, what is the wheel and tire spec, I have the same wheels in 17x8 with 35 offset, not sure if i'm getting 45 or 40 series 215 and i'm still not sure which coilovers yet, debating between Megan and function and form right now
