So i installed my header about 2 days ago and didnt driv eit son as it was on so the next day started it up and waited till it warmed up and next thing u know when i press on the gas and or low rpms and shift theres a thump noise which im guessing is coming from the s2 headr since it doesnt have much clearance around down the downpipe, anyone had this problem and found a solution? would a torque dampner make this stop??

It may help slightly but it will not solve the problem. Filled stock mounts or solid mounts would be a better solution.

What's your motor set up? I'm assuming you have a k24 if your header is knocking on your firewall. You may want to inject your mounts or get the torque damper. Avoid solid mounts if you can, they really change the comfort level about your car. Teegs and myself have similar set-ups and solid mounts should be used for track purposes only.

You need mounts. I had the same problems with my BCRH. Once I got some Innovative motor mounts the problem went away.
