Hey everyone,

Wow...what a thread we got going here lol . Figured we should come in and post to set things straight. We received a PM from "lovecheese" asking about his findings and why we "advertise falsely" about our new header. We took the request seriously, and had one of our engineers go open a few headers and verify the measurements with some calipers. We measured an outer diameter of 2.5610" and promptly responded to him stating what we had found, and if he maybe had calipers that werent calibrated properly, or if he could take a pic to send to us. He send he would check and get back to us but never has. We also kindly asked him to go and post in this thread letting everyone know that we did indeed look into this for him and responded to him...but obviously that hasnt been done yet either. So, we wanted to come in here and set things straight, as well as post some pics of the measurement.

Here you go:

Hi 8thcivic.com.

My name is Brian and I am the Customer Service Manager at Skunk2. I wanted to post in this thread to clarify an issue with the urethane bushings found in our rear camber kits for the 06+ Civic Si.

There were a number of bushings which failed in these camber kits due to an issue with the urethane formula.

ANY customer who has a rear camber kit who had bushings fail please give us a call at 951.808.9888 and we will be happy to replace them with our revised bushings free of charge.

I wanted to post a picture of our new bushings next to our old bushings so that you guys as consumers can identify that we are NOT just shipping you the same replacement bushings, but rather those of a new design and compound.

On the left you will see our new bushings and on the right our old bushings. The easiest way to identify new versus old is the number of grooves in the bushing, as well as the shape of said grooves. The new bushings have 5 grooves versus the old which have 8. In addition the new version have round grooves, where as the old bushings have square cut grooves.

Give us a call if you have any questions, or if you would like to update to the newer version bushings.
