I own a sedan Si and a '00 Mustang GT with an auto tranny that's basically stock. In most situations so far I've been finding my mustang gets better mileage than the Si on trips to work, lol.
That's about what I was getting on my first 10 tanks of fuel but the MPG has dropped significantly now that snow tires are on and cold air is here. Now it's more like 285-300 miles on a tank. And that's OK - much better than my last 5 vehicles!about 325miles per 11gallons
word...and with gearing slightly in the Civic's advantage it should almost always get better hwy mileageseriously... numbers man, numbers....
Plus if it's really that bad:
-check your tire pressure
-check your driving habits
-check your air filter
-check your spark plugs
-change your oil
I did the last 3 one weekend and then got 37.7 mpg all cruising, all HW in my RSX-S.
