I was just about to post this. I think it's a great thing and hope they can fix what's wrong (UAW problems etc). It actually seems like GM wants to sell Saab very bad. I guess Sweden was not willing to crank up their money printing presses like we have been just to save a company that is "too big to fail". I hope annalists, congressmen, and CEO's of the big 3 look to see what happens as the company gets a chance to change, and it's not the end of the world.
I hate to see Saab close its doors, but maybe another company will pick them up. I'd like to see what Saab would do under the leadership of a more driver-oriented parent company. But perhaps that's just wishful thinking.
