We have an 03 nissan xterra, that is not a primary use vehicle for anyone in the house. Well, since I got my 2 door Si, ive been using it more and more to haul my friends places. Recently, I noticed a lot of rust underneath the truck, i.e. suspension components and such.
Is there any way I can get rid of it, I know there are products you can apply, like paints and such. Is there a way I can get this done without ripping the truck apart? How should I do this, and what should i use?

surface rust, right? that's normal.

if you want, you can use some rustoleum based paints (on non-hot metals),
or engine enamel on the hotter parts.

appears to be surface rust, but in large amounts.

would the differential require regular rustoleum or should i use enamel on it?
