Hi there,

can anybody told me a difference between these two pumps?

Rev limit with RRC and PRB....and so on :)

RRC is from the Civic FD2 15100-rrc-003
PRB from RSX-S 15100-prb-A01

the RRC fits out car without modification, the PRB takes some grinding to fit.
on the type r? or the prb.

how much deeper? isn't the prb already mm's from touching the pan?
just make sure to match the oil pan with the oil pump. oh wait you can't use the prb oil pan. If you go RRC makes ure to use the RRC oil pump chain tensioner/guide 13450-RRC-004

can nobody help me?

Which redline have the RSX-S? The two pumps see very similiar...but are similiar internals and have the same effect over Z3/Z4 pump
The main difference is the rotor inside (8 vs 10 arms) and the gear ratio of the pump (1.62 x engine speed for the rsx pump, 2.0 x engine speed for the stock civic si pump)

you are sure? When I look at my pictures....drive wheel, both have the same number of teeth.

So I think the RSX-S and RRC are the same inner life??

I know the rotor inside from the RRC but not from the RSX-S :(

look here A1/2/3/4 vrs K20Z3 oil pump - K20A.org .:. The K Series Source . Honda / Acura K20a k24a Engine Forum
it's 6 arms vs 8 not 8 vs 10.

But the rsx pump absolutely turns 1.62x engine speed.

You're confused.

I'm not talking about rsx vs rrc. I'm talking about rsx vs z3 pump (k20z3)

As far as the rrc vs rsx, they perform identically.

Yeah that I know with the K20Z3/Z4 pump....I Have a K20Z4 engine (FN2)

so I was always confused. because they look similar look ;)

RRC and RSX in all specs perform identically?!

the type r has a deeper pick up. not sure how much but is is noticeable.

Can you pull the pump apart and look at the actual pump gears or the pump vain's as it is actually called.
i guarantee that internally it's like the RSX one.
