the RRC fits out car without modification, the PRB takes some grinding to fit.
exactly, I know wellthe RRC fits out car without modification, the PRB takes some grinding to fit.
Jup, you must use these baffle plate 11221-pnc-000just make sure to match the oil pan with the oil pump. oh wait you can't use the prb oil pan. If you go RRC makes ure to use the RRC oil pump chain tensioner/guide 13450-RRC-004
you are sure? When I look at my pictures....drive wheel, both have the same number of teeth. The main difference is the rotor inside (8 vs 10 arms) and the gear ratio of the pump (1.62 x engine speed for the rsx pump, 2.0 x engine speed for the stock civic si pump)
it's 6 arms vs 8 not 8 vs 10.
But the rsx pump absolutely turns 1.62x engine speed.
You're confused.
I'm not talking about rsx vs rrc. I'm talking about rsx vs z3 pump (k20z3)
As far as the rrc vs rsx, they perform identically.
the type r has a deeper pick up. not sure how much but is is noticeable.on the type r? or the prb.
how much deeper? isn't the prb already mm's from touching the pan?
