Hey,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I hope it is the right one.

I blew my left stock speaker, like an idiot, and would like to replace the two front speakers. I have found a guide on how to do it, and feel fairly confident in my ability to take the doors apart, but I had a few questions..

I know that I need speakers that will not take too much power from the stock head unit, so I was wondering what speakers you would suggest that would sound as good, but preferably better, than the original speakers. I am on a budget of about 100 dollars on the pair.

Also, is it worth it to grab a pack of Dynamat to insulate the speaker wells in the door? I know the old speakers rattled alot in there, and if this is worth it, I dont mind spending the money.

Thanks for any help!

I'm not an expert but..
I replaced my rear speakers with infinity rated @ 2ohms, an improvement over the stock, "sound quality whise".

If you want to keep the original sound quality, you can switch the rear speakers with the front ones, they are same.
