Hey team, looking for a guide/diy to replace my dead navi unit. Mainly looking for information on how to remove the unit from the car.

I've been searching and all I can find is guides for non navi cars.

Thanks a ton for any info!

One more question and I will tag it to this thread vs creating a new one.

Face ID on my faulty unit is "2AC7". Looking around for a replacement I'm seeing face ID's "2AC5", "2AC6", etc...plugs on the back look identical to mine and overall the units look similar. All have the wording "Premium Audio System" on the face same as mine.

Do I absolutely need to match the face ID or can I grab one of these other very similar units?

Thanks for all the help!

I want to say you don't have to match the faceplate number. As long as it says, "Premium Audio System" (meaning you have an amp), you SHOULD be good to go. I've swapped out Toyota NAVs in my 4Runner and installed a factory NAV successfully. Mind you, it wasn't the EXACT model (4Runner had E7005 and E7008 from the factory), I installed the E7009. Works perfectly fine. Anyway, I want to say that the faceplate could be for other Honda model (CRV, FIT, etc).

Good luck!
