This is a reminder to everyone that you must include pictures of all of the wheels you are selling in your thread with your information on a paper.

Marketplace Rules

Any FS/FT thread that is created is required to be reviewed by a Moderator prior to being visible to the users. This is to cut down on the amount of threads we are required to delete for rules violations.

Effective August 1, 2008:
Posting at least one accurate picture of good quality is required for each and every sale or trade. Along with an accurate description of everything you're selling and its condition, this picture must include a legible Sign with the following:
  • Your User Name
  • 8thcivic.com
  • Today's Date

Digital watermarks or digitally inputting this information into your sale thread is NOT sufficient and may result in thread closure. If you do not include pictures, your thread WILL be closed and/or deleted. Compliant Pictures MUST be included upon creation of your sale thread or when initiating a possible trade in FT threads. Using someone else's photos is prohibited.

  • Must be separate and actually on a piece of paper, and no photoshop or paint text allowed on top of your picture
  • When a member is selling several items or multiple items like wheels are anything that goes in sets. Pictures must be taken with each item by itself showing any damage
  • Each and every part/cable/component that comes with it is required to be in the photo(s). The exception to that rule would be if the item(s) clearly specify that it is "unopened and sealed from the factory".
  • Photo(s) must be included at initial time of posting. No, "I'll post a picture later" excuses

an example of how it should be done:

individual pictures of each wheel with info (they can still be on the car)
closeups of any possible damage
pictures of tread
whatever other pictures you want to include

close but not there:

Pictures of a single wheel on top of a stack even with info isnt enough, pictures of one wheel with info and saying you have a set isnt enough
you get the idea.

We have been asking you to do this for the seller and buyers protection. In the event of any disputes about condition of the wheels or tires there will be proof of the condition at the time of the sale. Unfortunately not everyone has been following the rules with this.

If your thread looks more like the "close but not there section" you may find your thread closed or removed until you provide pictures to make it more like the way it should be.
