:thumb: I went to my honda in Abbotsford and it sounds like the reflash is now in Canada as of Sept 1st. A month behind the US, but at least it is here. So I have an app on Thursday. Woohoo, I can't wait. But I guess I will have to.:laughing:

i called Happy Honda and they do have the reflash. however, they only do it on weekdays because those are the only available times the techy doing the reflash is in.

and then i called carter and they had no idea or haven't heard of any reflash. they checked my vin, they said, they did not find any TSB's nor anything about an HDS upgrade.

westwood honda has the upgrade, but they were having problems with their equipment upgrading the ECU. and that's all i know for now.

carter sucks, they don't know ****.. they don't even know whats wrong with my car.. apparently it had a low rpm idle, and they're blaming on my aftermarket intake fucking lazy bastards! I'm going to happy honda and give it a try.

sorry Sleepy - ECU updates are for the FG2 only.
i drove my friend's 5MT EX this past weekend and did not experience any DBW lag. it was completely different than the Si!!! way better throttle control, that's for sure.

the lag dosen't seem to be as bad anymore, when i hit the pedal it picks up quicker now that i have the intake in. Rpm's seem to be almost back to where they were before i put the intake in. I will be going for service C shortly so i will bug Carter when i am there, I will be talking to the service manager about this.

fuckers over at Vancouver Honda want to charge me a diagnostic fee for the DBW lag reflash! bastards... i ask how much, and the guy says $100/hour. then i told him to confirm with his manager, then he says $69.95/hour! what the hell?! if they charge me, i will seriously call Honda Canada on the spot. they better not even try to mess with me because i'm not taking that crap. the car is 4 months old; i shouldn't pay for anything because it's still under warranty.

How come you need the C service and I need the B service when we have the same km's?

i would die if the reflash screwed up my car! imagine if there was an equivalent to the Windows blue screen of death (BSoD lol)

yup i saw that. but that's only 1 reflash gone bad out of dozens! i'm willing to take my chances.
