(B18B) Having driven both, it's hard to say which is "better". The R18 is much more advanced as far as technology is concerned and it gets better mileage. Sure the B18 has dual cams, but the r18 has higher compression and is more efficient. The B18B is fun to boost :D

I knew someone was gonna say that the b18b is fun to boost haha. I agree on the rest of the stuff u said. Being that the engine technology is 15 or so years newer.

B18... 1990-1993 are my years that I like the tegs.. just the 1995 are the ones I like the GSR. Other than that, Acura are more of a lexury sports car than Honda is.
Actually the B18 was in Integras starting with the 2nd gen in 1990-2001. 92-93 GSR had a B17 vtec. 94-01 GSR had a B18 vtec. 90-01 non vtec were either a b18a1 90-93, or b18b1 94-01 and were 140 hp.

I owned a 91 Integra(b18a1) for many years and now have an 06(r18). I would say they are close, however, my r18 suffers a throttle lag(DBW?) which makes it seem a little less responsive than my old Integra.
