R18 I-VTEC Question ?!

Is it possible to change the vtec timing in the r18 so that it kicks in at higher rpms like the si ? Could you do some kind of cam shaft swap thing ? Si into r18 with ought a motor swap

No unfortunately it's not, it's for fuel economy. Even flash pro wouldn't help you. If you want the classic v-tec pull your going to have to buy an Si.

It's been researched, tried, and failed. Over and over.

The system operates in a completely different way than the K series, and if you changed it, you would lose what is probably the most clever bit of engineering on the car.
