once the build is complete Im gonna see what I can max out My GT25R for psi, Ive heard 18 to 22 psi should be maximum of course after getting someone to properly tune my flashpro!

Car is just a Summer driver, hoping to push the most Horsepower out of it I can

I noticed there was one other member 420 coupe who did a full build and achieved 350 hp

although he was running a different turbo kit, different intake manifold and had port polish done
which I have read is not really a big component.

I will post pictures up of garaged parts to get some excitement happening.

As of now I will post some old pics of the car although it does look a bit different now

calipers are now black, AEM gauges are painted black and I no longer have the AEM FIC as apparently there are no tuners for this solution where I Live.

** If anyone is in need of AEM FIC with Boomslang Harness or AEM Cold Air Intake I will sell for cheap***:wavey::dance:

Also does anyone know If these are legit??? I am waiting on a response from the website owner as ARP has verified they do not make head studs for the R18A1,

https://www.raceeng.com/p-16543-arp-head-stud-kitr18-honda-set.aspx

If possible I would like to avoid paying for custom built as the bearings are already going to be custom. $$$$

And who wants to tune my flash pro after the build!

I have heard E Tunez has some good guys?

Ever consider friction reduction coatings and thermal coatings? I would suggest swaintech.com They offer some really good products to control heat and reduce friction.

For sure would ceramic coat the exhaust manifold and exhaust turbo side.

I highly recommend Adam from Pro Civic. I had ordered the wall to 255LPH and was worried this might not support enough Horsepower if I upgrade my turbo after the build.

He gladly swapped me up to the 255 HP version.

This is what legendary customer service is about.

Thanks Adam from Pro Civic!

What would you guys recommend for a turbo upgrade once this build had taken place!

I see precision have been very popular

Although full rave recommends the BorgWarner efr 6758 for built engines.

I'm assuming either way this will be some serious money to get as I will be in need of a new manifold and possible external wastegate unless there is anyway to setup a larger turbo on the TSI kit.

From what I understand only a GT28 would bolt on although this turbo is not much of an increase from my GT25R

Does anyone know what turbos are avaliable that will bolt right on to the TSI Turbo kit manifold? So far it looks like:

Precision 5830 has t25 housing as an option
Garrett T28 turbos have the t25 housing
Some of the Garrett gtx and gt 30 models have t25 housing
BorgWarner efr 6758 apparently has t25 housing

What would be the best option for the build?

1) boosting the gt25r to 20 psi seeing what horsepower it can make although Garrett rates at 270 hp
2) upgrading to bigger turbo and injectors
3)new manifold, external wastegate,bigger turbo

Which turbo to go with with t25 housing????

Option 3 turns me off due to price$$$$
