Kitty Litter!
i put three 35lb containers of kitty litter in my trunk for more weight.

but not only will it add weeight.. but if u get stuck u can take out the kitty litter and sprinkle it around ur tires or whereever.. to get unstuck !

OMG. Thats for rear wheel drive cars, numbnuts. More weight over the tires= More traction.

You can use it to sprinkle in front of your tires if you get stuck however. Its not like its damaging anything to have them back there but the weight isnt really helping the way you think it is. If you had a 2wd Pickup, sandbags or other weights are recommended for traction.

Do NOT try this with the self clumping litter. It MUST be the cheap-0 cat litter. Otherwise it will gum up on your tires turning them into solid treadless slicks.

Sortof... We used to dump the litter pain in the back of our property. I was using the riding mower to knock down some brush and rode through the "crap". Had a hell of a time getting the Snapper mower to go up the hill with slicks!

You would be screwed if this was done on a car in the ice!
