i was wondering if they can program a 2-step with the reflash? and also how much did the reflash cost???
question about the hondata reflash??

What do you mean by 2-step? Nitrous maybe?
I belive the reflash is around 600, although i have seen it cheaper other places.

Reflash is around $600, and i think you mean 2 stage Nitrous? It'll accomodate Nitrous

yea ive seen 2-step on n/a cars it is just a programed revlimiter to launch at. so does anybody no if they can do that??

so back to the reflash...HOW do you get it done? Hondata sells only through dealers. None of the dealers have anything about the reflash on their sites.

sells the reflash along with many other sites etc.
you send off your ecu and in about 2-3 days you get it back reprogramed and pop it in:vtec:...

You don't need Hondata to get a 2 step rev limiter, MSD gots whats you need.
2 step isn't just for boosted cars. It can be used for any car. It's a tool used in drag racing to help you achieve consistent launches

Personally I would get this, and plan to myself, though you will have to get the DIS 4
DIS-2, PN 62112 and DIS-4, PN 62152
I had this for a 2000 Cavalier Z24. Its a capacitor really, It uses the same concept as a blaster cap for a stereo system. It also has a soft touch 2 step rev limiter. You can set a drag launch, and a High RPM launch. It's perfect for those with the Hondata reflash that are scared they might over rev their engine.

so is N2O really safe for our cars????? I have heard mixed reviews also somewhere on the forum someone mentions that Hondata said not to use nitrous???? But I think you are right, I have been using it for a couple of months now and when i got the flach a few days ago, BWT LOVE IT!, I took the bottle off. So whats the real deal about this?

Not only that if you did decide to go nitrous this has a timing retard feature that can be used for boost too!

I would be willing to wager that 50-75 shots of nitrous would be alright. But to answer your question, if you tuned the AFR using nitrous, which can be done without Hondata, it can be very safe.

Does hondatas reflash remove the factory standing limiter at 5500rpm????
