Just doing some research on exhausts, but I was wondering if someone with hfp exhaust can take a picture of the final outlet diameter and post it here, like with a measuring tape. I can't find technical specs on it anywhere!

are you looking for size of exhaust tip, or size of exhaust as it exits the muffler? the tip is roughly the same size as a stock SI exhaust give or take a few milli's, someone can correct me if im wrong i put mine on months ago.

The tip itself. Is it 3", 4"? It will also be a police issue in the province I'm from.

I'm getting my HFP taken off my car tomorrow, so I should be able to get a pic of it with the outlet diameter w/ measuring tape up by Thursday-Friday.

Where are you located silver? I don't think Honda would put something into production that wasn't legal in most if not all areas...but maybe that's just me.

"getting it taken off?" really? its 2 bolts. how much they stealing from u to do that?

and btw the tip is the exact same dimensions as the stock muffler, just hollow as you can see from pictures that are posted all over the place. (which can be found with a quick search.)

as he said same same outer dimensions as stock but i believe the actual outlet is 2.25, instead of 2, to match the midpipe. correct me if im wrong. I'll have to measure mine when i get home

There was guy on here that had the HFP exhaust on his in the bronx and got hit with a noise ticket, but as everything goes, we dont know the whole story.

The reason I am looking for the picture that here there are technically no noise laws, but when they are deciding if your exhaust is illegal, they compare it to what come from the factory, the exhaust that I put on cannot have a tip larger then a tip that is available from Honda.

I emailed college hills honda but they dont have the specs and none in stock at this time. That is why I am looking for the pic.

For the people saying it is the same size as the stock muffler, is it oval as well?

u think they really know the exact specs of an 8th gen stock tip? (they don't). all they are looking for is a huge fart can. no fart can=no ticket

i am 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% sure you will be FINE with a hfp muffler.

not to mention they sound really nice.

I am actually looking at a Vibrant cat-back, maybe magnaflow, but I want to know if the tip is a close size...Im hopeing someone can shoot me a quick pic...

The actual height of the tip is closer to 3.5" but since its angled its weird to measure

Wow, that is almost 5" wide and 3.75" high.

Thank you sir for the picture, I will be able to get almost any exhaust on the market for this car and have it be legal.
