Hi guys, I'm new here, got a 13' Si HFP recently. I gathered up about 6 civics, (mostly 8th gen) to head down to the paul walker tribute gathering this weekend (~1000 people car meet) and was wondering if any one else is going from this forum. If you would like to meet up with us and head down, please let me know.

Thanks

P.S: I attached some pictures of my car =)

Jeez it's sad he passed away but people are acting like he was Steve McQueen. Some god like actor that donated all of his earnings to charities for kids with cancer. What about the guy that was driving? people forget about him and his family's pain? Don't get me wrong its sad buuuut I dunno, people die everyday what makes him so special.

A lot of people, myself included, wouldn't be into the car scene and modding like we are today if it weren't for him and his movies. I was a couple years away from buying my first car when the fast and furious came out and that's where my love came from. Even as riced out as those cars were it was where a lot of us got the love from, and Paul was an actual car guy and in hate to lose a good car guy.

I feel its sad to lose a fellow car guy as well. Like I said its sad. I personally was into the car scene far before those films. It's great that he helped you into it and and I am sure many others but I just find the attention excessive is all. There are people I feel are far more deserving of that kind of attention and don't get it which is why all this irks me I guess. I say again what about the guy that owned the shop and was driving the Porsche? I apologize for venting in you're thread OP. I am sure you guys will have an enjoyable cruise and I would join in just to hang out if I was home and tear it up in my bloated turbo CR-V.
