I was just wondering is there a way to snip the wire so when a passenger doesn't have a seatbelt on my civic will stop beeping? I know that sounds bad, but it does get annoying when i'm traveling a few feet. Thanks.

Also I was wondering why sometimes my passenger airbag light is on? Should I get that checked out? Thanks.

Have your passengers put a seatbelt on. Much easier than snipping a wire.

Are you driving with anything in the passenger's seat?

As for the beeping, we do not permit any sort of discussion regarding modifying the vehicles electrical system to alter the seatbelt systems function due to liability reasons.

the airbag light sometimes comes on if the weight in the seat crosses or is right around a certain set threshold

Have people wear their seatbelts until the ride comes to a complete and final stop. It's easy really...people know to wait until I pull the ebrake to let loose...it's no sweat...really.

Yes...get the light checked if nothing is in the passenger seat...something's up with that.
