Just take it straight there, show them where the paint failed and don't take no for an answer. Key words are "unacceptable" and "next car won't be a honda" lol
I went to the dealer in Ft. Walton Beach today and they took pictures of my car and scheduled an appointment to get it fixed...in April. They also told me it would take at least two weeks once it's in the shop and a rental was out of the question.

I called Honda of America today and they agreed with me that that was insane. They opened a case and I should hear something back soon.

^ any update from honday of America? Ft. Walton told me the same thing... i told her they should give me a rental since honda screwed the pooch on the paint and her response was "well they are paying over $2k to fix your paint" didnt make me real happy.
HoA called me yesterday morning. The rep said that dealers were backed up everywhere because of this problem. The only advice he gave was to find out where they would send the car and deal with them directly.

I don't look forward to shelling out a bunch of money for a rental...in April.
