Has anyone recently gone to their dealership for the paint recall? Recently bought an 8th Gen and they told me the car was too old so they were only going to cover 20% of the cost?

I'm not 100% sure but I think the service bulletin for the paint recall is over now.

Just bought an 09 LX Coupe last week. Clear coat on the roof is peeling in a few spots. And the hood has crows feet pretty much all over it. Does anyone know anything on the cause of this? Also, does anyone have any methods where I could possibly prevent it from spreading to the rest of the vehicle? I'm sure parking it outside in a Chicago winter won't do me any favors.

The previous owner of mine had the car repainted somewhere because the paint was fading and now its happening again on the roof. The only thing I can think of is to use a car cover to protect it from some of the suns rays. You could also try to wetsand it and repaint it but that's more involving. I'm thinking about wrapping my roof with some vinyl wrap to protect it for now.
