Heres the story, my cousin said he can hook me up on a set of RG's with tires for about 1500. They are 18x7.5 with an 40 offset. They are the gold ones.

Right now i'm on a stock suspension setup but I was thinking of getting some lower springs for now and then getting the HFP suspension.

My question is, is this a good deal? Would you jump on it? I searched the forum but I couldn't find any with the original RG's, Does anybody know how much they weigh?

I have been eyeballing the RG III's

It appears to be a Subaru fanboy wheel.

Might need some spacers with +40 offset to make em a little more flush but for the price Id be willing to run em .

Used or new? That's a good deal price-wise, but I'm not a fan of RGs. They look outdated and don't have that concave effect that the RGIIs have. Unless you absolutely love RGs I'd hold out for a different rim.

rg1's weigh 15 pounds for 17's. that is a good price for 18's with tires. been trying to find 18's forever but could never find em, so i settled with 17.

get em. but getting lowering springs, only to change em for hfp seems like a waste. hfp would only be like 300 more at the most than doing springs. just save and wait.
