may be a noob question... i have an fg2... when checking oil do you push the dipstick down all the way to read the level or just let it rest?

just changed my oil today (mobil 1 ftw!)..everyone says the Si oil filter is impossible to get to... its really not! so someone considering to do their own oil changes, dont hesitate because you have an Si... you just need a swivel head adjustable oil wrench and you do not need to take your right wheel off! ... its cake :dancing:

pull out the dipstick. wipe the tip where the gauge is.

then dip it back, wait 5 sec, pull it out carefully, and read the gauge.

you should measure on a cold engine.
