i m getting the new 17" for 06 si 2dr,
i have 2" drop on the car, and i m not sure wut exactly size rim should i get.
i m thinking of 17x8 with 35 offset.
will this fit? i believe 35 means the rim come out the fender but i dont know.

thx for any info

WOW.. First post..Welcome to 8th Civic Forum

The proper rim for the 06 Si coupe is the 17x7 with 45mm offset which the size of the HFP 17" rim by Honda. The rim is not the problem when it comes to your drop (2"), it's the width of the tire. Having said this, I would not go wider than a 225/45-17 tire to avoid any rubbing issues. Now I would like to introduce you to the Stickies (blue posts) at the beginning of each thread. offset is measured from the center i believe, thus, the lower the number the further it's pushed out. so yeah, it would be pushed out more towards the fender. the higher the number brings it in.
