since the users are going to post up their modifications anyways, we don't need two categories for the all motor section. since there aren't too many R18 at the track, we can just have one section for them. also, since this is an 8thgen site, we could just keep it 8th civics only. and of course, picture of time slips and/or video, not just typed up numbers. it's almost 2010, everyone should have a camera

I kept the non-8thCivic category though. We have members that drive other cars. I have a more inclusive attitude about the site, perhaps due to my experience with the Dragon meet where we have a number of people that bring other vehicles. It allows us to see what our competition is doing and it really doesn't hurt anybody with that category being there.

As for a picture of a time slip and video, I agree and thought about it when civic tech posted his time. He does have a video showing a 14.1 run but no visible proof for the 13.9 run. I checked out his thread on it and nobody was calling BS. At the time it was done, this thread and its rules weren't here. I'll research each case individually and, if the time seems to be accepted by everyone, I'll post it. However, that will just be a grandfather clause and all future times will be required to have some type of visual evidence.

lol. yeah i just never took a pic of the timeslip of that run. i will get one up if it is required. I am a frequent visitor in the racing section and i guess people just assume i am not BS'ing.

Just got back from a day at Z-Max dragway.

Best time of the day= [email protected] 102mph

Running street tires.
AEM SRI/Kidd Header/ 70mm Exhaust/ FP Base Map/ P2R TBS

I honestly think I can get 13.7 or better but my best time of the day was not recorded. Neither side of the track got recorded on that run for some reason but when I crossed the line I was doing around 105-107mph. All in all a pretty good day. Im just glad I finally broke 14.
