1:04.041 for Lime Rock.

Tonight, in 6" of snow.

In a rookie spec Pontiac Solstice.

iRacing.com! Just joined, the only simulator I've found that has a good Lime Rock track, but the choice of cars is very limited so I went with something heavy and underpowered.

So no, this doesn't count, but what else can you do on a snowy, winter night?

Waiting patiently for spring. :paper:

You should also be able to drive the Mazda Miata... I've been playing it a little bit, but find it almost impossible without having driven the track in real life first. Without that experience I don't have any sense of speed or patience to learn a track in the game and just drive off every corner. I tried a race and it was a complete disaster. Black flagged for speeding in the pits, then black flagged again for the same thing when I came in to serve my penalty!

That's pretty funny. I'll try the Miata and pick a course I don't know at all (not even through Gran Turismo) and see how it goes.

1:07.210 at Lime Rock today with SCDA. Same setup and same old Star Specs which somehow still have life in them.

Short session due to spec Miata wipeout but had some open track to work with for a few laps this session.

Great day learned a lot!

did a 2:04.7 at Thunderhill last week on a super hot 100F+ day. It can do 1-2 seconds faster on a cooler day.

This is a Honda civic challenge H2 spec race car running Hoosier R6 with -3.9 front and -3.0 rear cambers. Stock engine except for intake, software and header. Car weigh in around 2800 lbs 1/2 tank gas without driver

In this video I was showing the lines to a modified FRS and let the 911 and Z06 past then quickly catch up and pass them with ease

my 2:04 lap which is comparable to a street spec Porsche GT3 lap time

Fantastic lap time Peter for first time at left coast and down on engine power. I am sure with proper power, R6 and couple more practice laps you will be in the low 2:00 :)

I am aiming for 1:59.8 and everything has to be perfect and driving on the very very edge of adhesion envelope

2:02 on Road Atlanta

2007 Sedan with Kraftwerks kit stock exhaust street tires redshift koni yellow aligned for street mild performance upgraded sway bar TSX brakes

Was only my second run on the track and had an instructor with me so I have not doubt it would be easy to get below 2 minutes.

What is done to the car? I took my car there for the first time last weekend and the best time I was able to turn (felt like a good lap, but the only one timed) was a 2:01. Stock street tires, D2 coilovers with adjustable camber (which needs to be adjusted for track..) and everything else is stock. I fried my brakes in just 5 sessions but Id like to see how I compared to other drivers. Ive tracked spec miatas before on laguna but first time in the SI. I must say I am well impressed with this car.
