Hey first post here. I just did an oem engine swap on my 07 civic si. I disconnected the ecu. Did the swap. Put the ecu back in. Connected my battery in, akarm went off bla bla bla. Went in my car, headlights were working. Primedthe fuel pump like 4 times. Everythings great. Then i crank the motor and nothing. Electronics wont work anymore. Got thbattery tested at autoparts, and its good. Sooo ech reflash and if so how? And voltage regulator? Thats what i was told too. Thanks

Doing a K swap into a d series civic is a hell of a job. The ek is a relatively easy platform to do it on as far as parts availability goes, but if you've never even replaced and engine before, this project will quickly get over your head. If you want K power, it will likely be much less expensive to just buy an RSX or an 8th gen Civic Si that came from the factory with a K series motor Nox Vidmate VLC .
