NorCal's Hwy9 Cruise Thread
The weather seems to be getting better, so I think its time to bring the cars out. I would like to use this thread to plan group trips up to Hwy9. Mo,Sk33ny,and I had a blast this weekend up on 9,and wanted to get a group together for a drive possibly this weekend (May 1,2010).
Please post here if you would like to go. I plan on many drives this summer and would like this to be the place we organize our drives. I<3 Hwy9. Let's have some fun..

And on an other note, please remember, we are going to have fun up there, even if that means just cruising with ur windows down and just listening to music. Please DONT over drive your car. We are there to have fun , not setting world records. I'm sure some of us are gonna push real hard. Just remember, leave plenty of space between cars, and leave plenty of room for braking.. Please use the turn outs for faster traffic, I'm sure Mr. Cool and his Corvette are gonna be out there someplace. Just let them go..

We meet up in San Jose and start the cruise in downtown Saratoga and usually stop in Bolder Creek. Going all the way to Santa Cruz is cool, but after BC it becomes more residential,( lower speeds and traffic ). But I'm down for whatever.
I sure hope this rain is light.. It might spoil our 9 trip.. 
Ooops, I thought it was cams (rofl), anyway I think 6-7 cars for now and we will prolly head to down town Saratoga around noonish. I think 85 (or is it 87, I always get them mixed.) to Saratoga Ave. Then up the hill.. Wanna meet us in SJ or DT Saratoga? Assuming u wanna go..new cams...lol that would be great. I was actually waiting for my gopro HD cam to mount on my car. Something to help me out with my driving. How large of a group we talkiong about, and what route up to 9?
Well if its sunny the rest of the week, it might be dry up there saturday. I sure hope its dry..

The back way might take longer.. Can u get Skyline Blvd from like El Monte or something close, maybe Page Mill. I know you can cut through Stevens Creek Reservoir, but its tricky..depending on how things are for family i have in town. how have the cruises been up 9? Too much traffic. Are there any backways we can go up 9 to 4 points? Possibly go down 9. One big thing when driving up as a group is that everyone iis driving within their limits.
