I've asked this before but no one has been able to help. What ohm resistor do I need to get the air bag light to turn off? I've swapped my seat to one without an airbag and the damn light is on. No one seems to know what resistor is required to get the light to STFU. Please help.

I just heard a good suggestion for this. Instead of a resistor, just put a potentiometer in there and adjust the resistance on it until the light turns off. they only cost about a buck and you wouldn't have to work about what the exact resistance is.

I'm guessing it's an '07 , if so , there are a couple of things that will trigger srs light on .
1) side airbag inflator bolted onto seatback frame (try a 2ohm resistor)
2) seatbelt buckle switch
3) seat weight sensors being unpluged (built into seat frame rails)

Good luck .
