It's near impossible to do anything about it short of getting it replaced. The film, while tough, cannot be buffed out or rubbed in order to remove the scratch. Sorry to hear about that.

Well it depends on badly it's scratched.

Plexus, Solar Magik, etc do a great job at removing a lot of scratches!

So does "Magic Sizing" available in the laundry isle.

Of course, if it went through the SR coating....nope. Time to replace it.

Also, "something" in the towel shouldn't have scratched it unless you have some cheap Korean tint with a horrible SR coating.

Good advice. From the sound of the OP, the scratch was very deep, not just a surface blemish.
