My dealership just called to let me know my silver SI has just arrived.
They're doing PDI right now but I was told I should be able to drive it home tonight!!! :D For all of you who were given the same ETA as me (first week of Jan) for your SIs, hang in there a little longer. Yours should be arriving any day now.

Ooohhh yeeeaaaa!!! If you got yours in today, mine should be in sometime in the next few days!!!!! Just don't know how it got to Columbia before it got here near Charlotte?? Anyway, should be soon!!! Post up some pics if possible and a review when you get time man. Congratulations Ciscoboy!!!!!!

Thanks Nighthawkmetalhead.
I'm sure it'll get to you very soon. I don't know how it got here before it got to Charlotte but the same truck droped off 1 Si at each dealership in town.

Congrats!

When was your original delivery date? When did you get the VIN for that car?
Thanks Jasondre,
I've got my VIN on the 8th of Dec and the original delivery date was 26th through 30th but it got pushed back to the first week of Jan.

Well, I got back home about 8:30EST after picking up my car around 7:20EST and it actually only takes about 20 minutes but I took a long long way home. :D My wife thought I should've gone with either fiji blue or black but after seeing the car in person she agreed it looks "sexy". I can't really review the car until the babying period ends but I think I like the way DBW holds on the rev so far. It'll definitely take some getting used to but it actually seems to help shift gears more smoothly and effortlessly. I'll see if I can post some pics I've taken at the dealership earlier tonight.

Congratulations, Ciscoboy.

The issues with the rev holding is much more noticable at low speeds. When rolling through a parking lot it sounds like you are reving the engine...which is somewhat embarrasing.

At higher speeds it is really not noticable at all, and probably does help some folks with the shifting/rev matching.
Well, you have a good point there Janizary. I don't want to look like a teenager trying show off his ride. That would really be embarassing.
Well, other than that, I think I'm OK with it.

Thanks for the pics Ciscoboy!!! Looks great in silver!! You don't have to say if ya don't want to, but did you have a MPA on yer car, or did they give it to you for MSRP?
Here is what I've paid,

MSRP - $19,990
Destination - $500
Tax - $300
Tag - $25
