i just plugged the numbers into a wheel-tire calculator and the difference in diameter is only 1.3%. i wouldnt imagine that would affect gearing much at all. it throws off your speedo by <1mph for every 60mph. if anything it may account for a 0.05 gain in ET lol. if even that.

also when it comes to the 225 getting you more grip over the 215 in drag.. yeah, thats true, but even that is pretty negligible if you use a good grippy tire. the 225 will also have more friction and inertia.

this kinda reminds me of all the dudes who strip out there back seats and stuff when they go to the track. they may save 50-60 pounds but, really, what is that off of your et? 0.05? 0.1 at the most? increasing your driving skill, esp the launch, is the best way to lower your times :smile:
