Alright so I've seen 2 variations to the mug rr conversion one with a usdm bumper that allows the original headlights to be kept and another that is a full change that requires new headlights which I found a full kit for about 2ish grand on a couple different sites, my question is what do I go for lol, I already installed new after market headlights and taillights but am kinda torn between the 2 choices presented before me and need opinions from others I'll see about posting a Pic of my current setup

Mugen rr? You mean the FD2 conversion? Mugen RR is not the same as a standard FD2 type r. It is virtually impossible to find, unless you go rep, which has a 80% fitting rate. If you were to get your hands on a oem mugen rr rear diffuser, it would cost at minimum of 10k. I. Current market it would be closer to 15k+, so I would suggest going against that, unless you’re okay risking fitment, because it will not be great. I went with the dual exit mugen rr rep, because I wasn’t dropping that much money into the car the fitment was not great, which is why I decided to mold mine. The front bumpers aren’t horrible, but still won’t have perfect fitment. If you’re doing the conversion because of the way the headlights/taillights make it look more aggressive, I would suggest going with an oem conversion. Everyone I’ve met went rep, and then eventually went oem, so might as well buy once install once, if you are financially set to do so. If you look at the Canadian csx, it’s literally all it is. You will be buying fenders, hood, bunper, grille, headlight/headlight brackets. I think I am missing one thing for the front, but cannot recall. The rear, would be the trunk, taillights, and bumper/diffuser. I attached a pic of both cars. Mugen rr is the red (as that is the only color it came in), and the white is your standard type r. The reason the rr is so heavily priced is because it is a 1/300 car. It’s rare. I believe the bumpers are also full carbon. Second photo is the current state my car is in, as I am still molding the rear. At some point I will be doing the rear conversion, but I have not found the taillights I want, as I am still going for the clears. The clear octagons are hard to find due to them behind discontinued.
neither of these are USDM though. If you’re wanting to keep the headlights you just bought, you can always look at the body kits (side skirts, front bumper lip and rear bumper lip/diffuser).
